From her first swing class at age 15, Gretchen became enamored with the art and athleticism of couples dance. She pursued this passion through dancing as an Amateur in pro-am competitions, and now as a Professional with her own students and in the UCWDC Masters Classic division.

She has danced with many students on their way to World Championship titles, and is herself a two-time UCWDC Classic Division 1 World Champion. She is also the very proud recipient of the 2021 Sheryl Forrester 'Shining Star Award' for 'Excellence in Inspiring and Lifting Up Other Women.'

Her passion for coaching and helping all of her students achieve their goals while remaining a life-long learner in her own dance education gives her endless curiosity and excitement for this sport.
